H&M drops Moss over drug claims

Kate Moss
A high street clothes shop has dropped Kate Moss as the face of their next advertising campaign, after a newspaper reported she had taken drugs.

The supermodel had been due to star in adverts for H&M's new clothing line but they say the photos won't be used now.

Ms Moss has not commented on pictures printed in The Daily Mirror which apparently showed her taking drugs.

In a statement the chain said: "H&M will cancel the planned advertising campaign with model Kate Moss."

"H&M is strongly against drugs and for many years has actively supported the drug preventing organisation Mentor Foundation.

"After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M's clear dissociation of drugs."
