Nottinghamshire have won the County Championship for the first time since 1987 after defeating Kent.
Notts thrashed Kent by 214 runs to take the title, only a year after being promoted from Division Two.
Wicket-keeper Chris Read said the title, their first trophy for 14 years, was reward for the team's hard work in recent years.
"It's been a long time coming. We haven't done a great deal for seven years," Read added.
