James Bond will look much younger in his next cinema outing, according to the man writing the film's script.
Paul Haggis told a movie magazine in the US: We're trying to reinvent Bond. He's 28 - no Q, no gadgets."
The would seem to rule out Pierce Brosnan returning for the 21st Bond film as he is already 52 years old.
Lots of actors including Clive Owen and Daniel Craig have been linked to the role, but the producers have yet to choose who will be next to play Bond.
Casino Royale is the first book author Ian Fleming wrote about the famous spy, and it has been made into a film before.
But that was a comedy not made by the same people who have been behind the successful series of big-budget movies.
In the book Bond is a younger man and doesn't have Q to turn to for gadgets, which suggests Haggis could be telling the truth.
