Ice houses in the US

3 of 7 Strong winds covered these coastal houses with water from the ocean. The water then froze, turning the buildings into ice houses.

5 of 7 The storm dropped freezing rain, sleet and snow. Although the ice on the branches looks beautiful, trees and power lines snapped under the pressure leaving lots of houses without electricity.
