Punk rockers Green Day have scooped seven awards at the annual MTV Video Music Awards in Miami.
They took the Video of the Year title for Boulevard of Broken Dreams. They were also honoured with the viewer's choice award for American Idiot.
The band - together for 16 years - also won Best Group Video, Best Rock Video, and Best Direction, Editing and Cinematography in a Video. The best female and male video awards went to Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West.
Clarkson, of American Idol fame, also picked up the Best Pop Video prize.
Hip-hop's Missy Elliott won two awards for Lose Control, Gwen Stefani took two for Hollaback Girl and What U Waiting For and newcomers Gorillaz also got two awards for Feel Good, Inc.
The ceremony was hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs who gave his own $100,000 (£55,387) award to best-dressed celebs Gwen Stefani and Snoop Dogg, who both said they would donate the money to charity.
The MTV event went ahead as the Miami skies cleared after Hurricane Katrina left south Florida and headed toward New Orleans.
But the glitzy event was marred by one violent incident.
Rap record boss Marion "Suge" Knight was shot in the leg at a pre-awards party. He's recovering after surgery to remove the bullet.
