1 of 12 Press Packer Danyal travelled from his home in Lancashire to visit Pakistan to find out more about his culture. As well as meeting his extended family he visited schools and mosques to compare life in Pakistan to his own in the UK .

4 of 12 At the Mosque school in Lahore the girls and boys are taught separately as teachers believe they will study harder in all girls or all boy classes
5 of 12 These two boys are studying the Qur'an in a religious studies lesson at a Mosque school in Lahore. Most children in Pakistan speak Urdu, but the Qur'an is written in Arabic
6 of 12 The girls from the Mosque school study a similar curriculum to UK students including maths, languages and science. Many of the girls told Press Packer Danyal they wanted to become teachers.
7 of 12 Lahore is extremely busy, there are street markets all over the city with stalls outside in the sun.
8 of 12 Whenever Danyal and the Newsround team stopped in the street people always wanted to talk. Loads of kids wanted to speak to Danyal to find out where he came from.
