Veggie ice creams to tempt kids

The 'Ice Greens' - vegetable flavoured ice creams
Fancy a broccoli or carrot ice cream? The wife of a celebrity chef has cooked up the idea of vegetable-flavoured ices to tempt kids to eat better.

Tana Ramsay, who's married to TV chef Gordon Ramsay, has developed the idea of 'ice greens' for children who don't like eating vegetables.

They come in broccoli, carrot, pea, lettuce, yellow pepper and tomato flavours, and are mixed other things.

Tana did it to "make vegetables more attractive to kids," she said.

"Child obesity is a huge problem today and one of the best ways to counter this is to make vegetables more attractive to kids," Tana said.

Mrs Ramsay has four young children herself, all aged between three and eight-years-old.

The ice creams were made for TV channel UKTV Food.
