I think Busted split up too soon

Busted made a shock announcement on Friday - they are splitting up for good.

At first, it was thought the boys were just taking time out, but that's not the case.

Like many fans, Leah was stunned. She thinks the lads split up too soon.

"My dad told me that Busted had split for good when he picked me up from school. I was shocked. I really thought they would take a break, but stay together.

More than anything, I think it's a shame. I've liked Busted for ages now. I like the fact that all their songs tell really good stories. I think that they had loads of brilliant songs left in them, and that they split up too soon.

Cry

I know a lot of my friends will be really upset, but I don't think anyone should cry. If Charlie wanted to leave, there was nothing anyone could do, although it seems a bit unfair on Matt and James.

I don't think Matt and James should get a replacement for Charlie and carry on. People would just be comparing them to Charlie all the time. It wouldn't be the same. I think they should all go off and do something on their own.

McFly

Busted are one of my favourite bands and I sing their songs on my karaoke machine almost every day. I won't be taking down my Busted posters.

I think them splitting up will probably be good for McFly, because a lot of Busted fans will get into them instead.

It will be sad knowing that there won't be any new Busted records coming out, but I think people should just enjoy the music they did do and let them get on with what they're doing now."
