Hip-hop star Kanye West's debut College Dropout has topped a survey to find the best album of 2004.
The rapper took first place in music store HMV's Poll Of Polls, based on end-of-year lists from music magazines, newspapers and guides.
Debut albums took the top three places, with Scissor Sisters coming second and Franz Ferdinand in third.
The Streets, The Killers, The Libertines, Kings Of Leon and U2 also performed well in the poll.
