The Queen 'joins iPod revolution'

Not many grandmothers can say they have an iPod, but the Queen has taken up this latest way of listening to music, according to newspaper reports.

The Queen, who is 79 years old and counts Princes William and Harry among her grandchildren, is the proud owner of a 169 silver iPod, The Sun says.

The pocket-sized digital music players can hold up to 100,000 songs.

It's not the first time the Queen has joined the hi-tech revolution. In 2001, she got her first mobile phone.

What might be on the Queen's iPod...
The Queen
Queens of the Stone Age
Westlife's Queen Of My Heart
Abba's Dancing Queen

The Sun reports that one of the Queen's servants was spotted in a shop in London's Regent Street buying the gadget.

"The Queen loves music and was impressed by how small and handy the iPod is," a royal insider told the paper.
