Why I support Fairtrade products

Ever seen something in a shop which has a Fairtrade symbol on it?

Eleven-year-old Eleanor explains what it means and why she wants everyone to buy Fairtrade products.

"I'm here to tell you about Fairtrade, an organisation that helps people in third world countries, like in Africa.

People in these countries are not getting their money's worth for the crops they grow.

This is where Fairtrade comes in.

It gives the people the money they need to survive.

Look for symbol

Fairtrade products do cost a little bit extra but isn't it worth it?

Most shops sell the products so they are easy to find.

The Fairtrade symbol isn't that big but if you want to help you can find it.

Make a difference

Remember to ask your parents because this is a serious matter and something needs to be done about it now.

Please, please support Fairtrade and remember you can make a difference."
