Chef dreams up chocolate sausage

This might be a step too far for even the biggest choccie fan - how do you fancy munching your way through a chocolate sausage?

A German chef has just won a top prize for his sausage containing chocolate chips and orange peel.

Joerg Staroske said the taste of his creation was "surprisingly different".

It bagged him a top gong at the annual sausage championships - called the Bratwurstmeisterschaft - in the German capital, Berlin.

Sleepless nights

Joerg said the idea for a choccie sausage came to him suddenly after he had spent many sleepless nights trying to come up with an idea for the contest.
