A top author is sending every secondary school in Britain a copy of one of his books to try and boost the number of children learning about science.
Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything has had loads of praise for the easy way it explains things.
The government is backing the idea as they are worried that not enough kids are interested in sciences.
Schools Minister Lord Adonis said the book - which has sold 2m copies - would "motivate and encourage".

He added: "Science doesn't have to be hard - and this book is a good example of science being made simple and fun to learn."
But providing pupils with interesting books isn't the only idea to improve the number of kids learning science.
The government will reveal new plans to get more science teachers in schools on Thursday.
