A soybean-based food called tofu could soon be used to help fix broken bones, say scientists.
At the moment most materials used to help heal bones come from animal sources. They're often expensive and there is risk of passing on diseases.
But the soybean curd is a natural product that seems to help the bones mend super fast.
The food is popular with veggies because it replaces some of the things they miss out on by not eating meat.
As well as being used as a bone filler, scientists hope the tofu could one day be used for other treatments including wound dressings.
Experts are so impressed with the findings so far that scientists at the University of Brighton have been given £149,000 to fund more research.
