Dick and Dom win two kids' Baftas

Dick and Dom are in line for two kid's Baftas
Dick and Dom have won two awards at this year's Children's Bafta.

The CBBC duo were named best presenters and their show In Da Bungalow won the entertainment award. The factual award was won by CBBC's Serious Desert.

In the only category chosen by children Shrek 2 beat Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to the prize of fans' favourite film title.

More than 6,000 children took part in the online vote, placing Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean as runners up.

But Potter didn't go away empty handed - it won best feature film, in the award voted for by Bafta judges.

Star studded bash

Loads of celebs turned out for the event at a London hotel on Sunday night, including EastEnders star Joe Swash, Cassie from the X Factor and Lord of the Rings actor Billy Boyd.

Members of the the Weasley family - James and Oliver Phelps and Bonnie Wright from the Harry Potter films - also put in an appearance.

They went up to collect the Potter film award but kept quiet when asked how filming The Goblet of Fire was going, saying only; "We're enjoying it."

The awards are held every year and honour the best of children's films and TV.

  • Interactive Bafta - King: Arthur
  • International category - 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter
  • Special Award - Floella Benjamin
  • Pre-school animation - Joko! Jakamoko! Toto!
