Jungle stars joined by Vic Reeves

Comedian Vic Reeves has joined I'm a Celeb... stars in the jungle in the first twist to the reality TV show.

The funny man surprised the group, which include his wife Nancy, by crashing the party a few days after they entered the camp on Sunday.

Programme-makers ITV say it's not yet known if Reeves will have to take part in 'Bushtucker trials' or the vote.

Model Sophie Anderton and former royal butler Paul Burrell are favourites to be evicted from the jungle first.

So far Fran Cosgrove, Brian Harvey and Janet Street Porter have all faced the infamous Bushtucker trials where they have to brave tanks of insects and creepy crawlies to win food for the rest of the team.

Snake bite

Journalist Janet's done the best so far, winning nine meals for the group even though she was bitten by snakes three times.

On Wednesday former pop star Brian had to battle 1.5 million flies, and only managed to win two meals for his jungle mates.

The celebs will spend two weeks battling it out to be king or queen of the jungle.

Last year's winner was ex-Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona.
