Band Aid highest download entry

Band Aid 20 were the highest new entry on this week's download chart, going straight in at five with charity single Do They Know It's Christmas.

U2's Vertigo held on to the top spot for another week. Gwen Stefani and Destiny's child were hot on their heels but couldn't topple the rockers.

Franz Ferdinand were celebrating two new entries - This Fire into the chart at eight and Take Me Out in at 18.

And Girls Aloud's Children In Need song I'll Stand By You went in at 16.

Natasha Bedingfield made a new entry at 20 with Unwritten.

Elsewhere Eminem slipped two to four with Just Lose it and Britney was down one to five.

Staying put

Kylie stayed put at 10 with I Believe in You, as did Kelis featuring Andre 3000 at 11 with Millionaire.

Green Day' American Idiot also stayed firm at 12, celebrating it's 13th week in the download charts.

The chart is based on the most popular legally downloaded songs on the web.
