Newsround's website goes mobile

Mobile phone

You can check the latest headlines even if you're nowhere near a computer because Newsround's website will work on your mobile phones.

It's got a slightly different address to the one you normally use, and the new address won't work on a computer.

If you've got a mobile that can be used to surf the internet, the mobile site is at www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/cbbc

It's updated from the stories we write, so as soon as a story is on the website it's on the mobile site too.

So you can catch up on the latest news, showbiz, sport and of course your Press Pack reports - including pictures!

Get linked by text

If you're not sure how to set up your phone just text Newsround to 81010.

Within a few minutes you will get back a "WAP push" or service message, which will offer you a direct link to the Newsround mobile site.

How this message appears will vary from phone to phone, so you might get a link you need to select, or you might get an option to 'Load' or 'Retrieve'.

When you've loaded the site, don't forget to bookmark it!

For details on how to do this click on the link on the top right that says CBBC - get mobile.
