What does the President do?

The Oval Office in the White House

The President makes decisions about how the United States is run, and how it will work with other countries.

He or she lives and works in a huge building in Washington called the White House.

The President is in charge of all the US armed forces, and has to choose who will help them run their office.

These people then help the President decide who to select for the Cabinet, and lots of other top jobs.
