Why do some people protest?

Anti-globalisation protestors argue that the world trading system is unfair and not voted for.

And that trade is used to take advantage of the world's poorer countries.

They claim the World Trade Organisation is controlled by a few rich countries while they protect their own businesses.

And they want their companies to get bigger at the expense of using up too much of the world's resources and harming the environment.
