Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker
When Anakin Skywalker was found by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jin on the planet of Tatooine he and his mother were both slaves.

Qui-Gon was stunned by Anakin's abilities, having built his own droid - C-3PO - and even a podracer.

No other human was quick enough to drive a podracer, but Anakin drove his creation to first place in a race on Tatooine, winning his freedom.

Qui-Gon saw more then just podracing in Anakin though, believing him to be a someone in ancient prophecy that would bring balance to the force.

After Qui-Gon's unexpected death at the hands of Sith Lord Darth Maul, Obi-Kenobi took on Anakin as his apprentice, called a padawan.

Years later when separatists threatened the Republic Anakin and Obi-Wan were appointed bodyguards to Senator Padme Amidala of Naboo.

Anakin and Padme returned to Tatooine where Anakin discovered his mother had been kidnapped.

In a rage the young Jedi viciously attacked the Tusken Raiders who had taken his mother, killing an entire village of them.

As events in the Galactic Senate got more and more complicated Anakin and Padme travelled to Geonosis where they were captured.

But the new Republic Clone Army and the Jedi came to their rescue, defeating the droid army of the separatist.

Anakin and Obi-Wan were involved in a fight with separatist leader Count Dooku, who beat the pair of them and cut off Anakin's arm.

Later, while recovering from those injuries, Anakin and Padme were married in a secret ceremony on Naboo.
