Cameron's coalition cabinet 2010

Cabinet meeting

The Cabinet is a mixture of Conservative and Liberal Democrats after the two parties formed what's called a coalition government.

David Cameron

David Cameron is the leader of the Conservatives and Britain's prime minister.

Nick Clegg

Nick Clegg is the deputy prime minister and leader of the Liberal Democrats.

George Osborne

George Osborne: Chancellor. He's in charge of all the country's money.

Vince Cable

Vince Cable: Business Secretary. He will be involved in working with banks and financial organisations.

Theresa May

Theresa May: Home Secretary. She looks after issues affecting the UK.

William Hague

William Hague: Foreign Secretary. He's responsible for things the government is involved in overseas.

Jeremy Hunt

Jeremy Hunt: Culture Secretary. His job covers areas like sport, the Olympics and media.

Dr Liam Fox

Dr Liam Fox: Defence Secretary. He has to make decisions about Britain's armed forces in places like Afghanistan.

Michael Gove

Michael Gove: Education Secretary. His job is all about looking after schools, colleges and teachers.

Chris Huhne

Chris Huhne: Energy and Climate Change. He will be working to try to make the country cleaner and greener.

Andrew Lansley

Andrew Lansley: Health Secretary. He has to make sure we have enough nurses, doctors, dentists and hospitals.
