What's a Grand Prix?

Lots of people make up a Formula 1 team

A Grand Prix is what a race is called in F1.

The drivers in Formula 1 race in these Grands Prix (French for Big Prizes) and win points which go towards the Formula 1 World Championship.

The minimum distance of a Grand Prix is 305 km, but no race can last for more than two hours.

on a special platform called a podium, which makes finishing in the top three a really big deal!
