Vote: Which Dark Materials book is best?

The first of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials books is being made into a film.

An unknown actress Dakota Blue Richards will play Lyra in the film which will be called the Golden Compass. That's what the Northern Lights is called in the US.

If the film is a huge success the other books will probably be made into films too, but which book do you like best?
