The Teachers' section will help you make the most of this unique resource.

It's a collection of easy-to-use lesson ideas based on the stories, quizzes and guides from the Newsround website. We keep it up-to-date by adding new lessons every week during term time.

Lesson ideas

Each lesson contains a short and long activity. The first can form the introduction to a full-length lesson, or be used as a stand-alone activity for people teaching in shorter tutor time slots.

The longer activity develops understanding and a plenary consolidates the learning.

There are also learning aims, extension activities, and background information - so you can teach them straight away without having to do any extra research.
