That was to a pal in Las Vegas and was a bit of a joke, but this time Britney says she really is in love.

Britney told a US magazine that her boyfriend Kevin Federline asked her to marry him while the pair were on a plane from Ireland to New York.

She said she hadn't been thinking about getting married, but when she thought about it, decided to say yes.

Britney and Kevin started going out a couple of months ago, after her brief marriage to childhood pal Jason Alexander.

Britney told the magazine: "I kissed a bunch of frogs and finally found my prince, I feel like I've found my happily ever after."
