"I suppose we get recognised a bit more, but we don't go to any celebrity bashes," McFly told Newsround Online.
"We're just your average teenage boys, but playing in a band."
"It's so weird with the screaming girls because there are loads of better-looking boys." McFly's second single, Obviously, is out on 21 June.
"It's about this girl who is way out of your league and she's got this boyfriend who is older than you and he's in the Marines," the boys explained.
Their second single will be followed by the release of their debut album, Room On The 3rd Floor, next month.
