  DJ Eric holds off Ronan challenge

 Ronan's number two
Swedish DJ Eric Prydz has made it three weeks at number one after seeing off a challenge from Ronan Keating and a host of other new entries.

Eric's Call On Me held on to the top spot, with Ronan's I Hope You Dance debuting at number two.

Deep Dish's Flashdance followed at number three with Jessica Simpson's sister Ashlee hitting number four with Pieces Of Me.

Legendary rockers REM made up the top five with Leaving New York.

In the album chart, Joss Stone's second offering, Mind Body & Soul, stormed straight to number one, knocking Green Day's American Idiot down to number two.

Other new entries included Marilyn Manson's Best Of... at number four and The Best Of Groove Armada at six.
