Brian McFadden shoots to top spot
Updated 12 September 2004, 19.23
Brian McFadden
Ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden has stormed to the top of the charts with his first solo single, Real To Me.

Nelly's double A-side My Place/Flap Your Wings was knocked into second poistion after just one week on top.

But it was bad news for the McFly boys, as That Girl is their first single not to top the charts, entering at three.

Natasha Bedingfield had a better time, as her album Unwritten went straight in at the top spot, ahead of Maroon 5 at two and Keane at three.

It's her first album, and knocked last week's self titled top album by The Libertines down to six.

Teen singer JoJo wasn't nearly as lucky, as her self-titled album entered at a very disappointing 22.
