No more CDs says George Michael
Updated 10 March 2004, 20.24
George Michael doesn't want an anti-war record
Pop star George Michael says he isn't going to make any more albums, instead using the internet to sell his music.

George said his latest album, called Patience, will be the last one his fans will ever be able to buy in shops.

In the future George's fans will be able to download songs from websites, making a donation if they want that will be passed on to a charity.

The singer said he has all the money he needs and hopes that he might become less famous by making the change.

He was being interviewed on BBC Radio 1 by DJ Jo Whiley.

He hopes his fans will choose to donate money to his fave charities, and is looking forward to having less pressure.

He added that he found it difficult to write a big bunch of songs when the record company told him to and would prefer to make music when he wants.
