Kirsty, 19 and Leon, 20 won't go through to the final on December 6.
The hopeful pair still get to join the other 10 finalists on a cover of John Lennon's Happy Xmas (War Is Over), tipped for Christmas number one.
Kirsty cried after being kicked off. She'd looked uncomfortable as she sang Anastacia's hit I'm Outta Love.
The Pop Idol 12 will also be releasing an entire Christmas album so it's not the last we've heard of Leon and Kirsty yet!
