It's also going to be called All New Top of the Pops, and will get a new logo, theme tune and sets.
The fresh ideas are down to new producer Andi Peters, who came up with T4 for Channel 4.
The acts on the show won't have to sing live if they don't want to though, they may choose to mime live if they prefer.
A BBC spokesperson said: "Andi wanted to bring a new element to the show and wants to make it must-see TV to start the weekend."
Andi Peters used to be a presenter on CBBC, and even presented Top of the Pops himself a few times.
