The nightclub boss said Cheryl shouted racist abuse after hitting Miss Amogbokpa, but Cheryl's lawyer questioned this.
He said: "You all got your heads together to to invent a good story for the newspaper didn't you?"
"No," replied the nightclub boss, before adding "that is not the case".
Some police officers also gave evidence to the court, and one said Cheryl had told him she was acting in self-defence, because she'd been hit first.
Another said he noticed a red mark on Cheryl's face, but at the time thought it was because she'd been rubbing her face because of tiredness.
