S Club have told Newsround Showbiz they're sad to be splitting but they're pleased they'll all be staying mates.
In the first interview the chart topping group have given since their announcement, they explained the split was a joint decision made by all the members.
Jo told us "We've achieved everything we can as a band. It's a good time to go out, while we're still friends."

Solo projects
They also said they're not going away, and they'll all be back with solo projects.
Bradley revealed he's off to a recording studio as soon as the band split at the end of their tour in May.
He's preparing to camp out in the studio while he gets stuck into writing and producing new tunes.
Bradley also admitted he'd miss his band mates loads - not least because they're always there to help him out in interviews if he gets stuck for words!
He went on to say "It's been a long five years, but a good long five years."

The band promised devastated fans S Club madness for the next few weeks until they split next month.
Meanwhile their final single, Say Goodbye, will be out soon.
