He got the help of loads of students from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music to make the record.
They pressed down on the extra pedals while Ace played Deep Purple's song, Smoke on the Water.
He'd wanted to play each note with 100 effect pedals, but he had to stop after it sounded really bad.
The director of the Institute said the "horrendous" noise was like Concorde taking off.
But the organisers say it's still a world record.
A video will now be sent to the Guinness Book of Records so they can verify it is a record.
