  Madonna misses out on number one

Everyone expected Madonna to get to number one
There was shocking chart news on Sunday when Madonna failed to get to number one.

Everyone expected the queen of pop to go straight in at the top spot with her latest track, American Life.

She'd sold loads of copies during the week and it looked like Madonna's 11th number one was a sure thing.

Robbie's back

But Room 5's version of Oliver Cheatham's 80s soul classic Make Luv hung on in at the top spot for a fourth week running.

50 Cent's In Da Club stayed put at number three, and Robbie Williams went in at number four with his latest tune, Come Undone.

Blur managed number five with their song, Out Of Time. It's their first release from their seventh album.

Coldplay are at number one in the album charts, just edging out the White Stripes.
