Kym's solo single storms the charts
Updated 13 April 2003, 19.02
Kym Marsh
Ex-Hear'say star Kym Marsh has stormed into the charts with her debut solo single.

Cry, a song thought to be about her split from the TV-made Popstars band, is this week's highest new entry at number two.

Room 5's version of Oliver Cheatham's 80s soul classic Make Luv hung on to the top spot for the third week running.

White Stripes
The track, featuring Cheatham, features in a men's body spray ad and could well be the biggest dance hit of the year.

Meanwhile Gareth Gates' Comic Relief charity single, Spirit in the Sky held onto its place in the top ten, slipping just three places to number five.

Daniel Bedingfield's latest offering I Can't Read You went in at number six and 50 Cent's In Da Club climbed two places to three.

The While Stripes held on to the top of the album charts for another week with Elephant.
