But when Victoria entered the shop, she noticed a signed picture of David Beckham in a display cabinet.
On closer examination she thought it was a fake and said so in the shop.
Her comments were then reported in various newspapers.
The McManus family, who own the shop, were told at the High Court in London on Tuesday that they had been awarded £55,000 in damages.
Victoria Beckham wasn't there but the judge was told that she had apologised to the family.
She also agreed to give the shop a set of official merchandise signed by David.
