The first one, called The English Roses, will come out in September this year and will be the first of five the star is writing.
The books will be published by Penguin, who also make books by authors like Roald Dahl, Eoin Colfer and Allan Ahlberg.
The man in charge of Penguin books, John Makinson, said: "these books will touch children of all backgrounds everywhere in the world".
