"For teenagers, that's the kind of TV they've had for the last five years," Kylie told Radio 1's Jo Whiley.
"It's like 'What do you want to do when you grow up? I want to be famous. What for? It doesn't matter.'"
She said young people should want to do something else first, not just want to be famous for the sake of being famous.
This comes just after Robbie Williams, who sang a duet with Kylie, also slammed this kind of show. He said the programmes "messed with young people's lives".
