The spiky-haired heart-throb always sings live at Pop Idol gigs, but still has trouble actually speaking to the fans.
Many of you have spotted that Gareth has been miming his speech at the concerts on his current tour.
'Confusing'
"But between two of his songs he said: 'And next I'd like to sing one of my favourites,' without moving his lips. It was really confusing."
A spokeswoman for Gareth admitted to CBBC Newsround Online that he did mime some of his speech at gigs, because of his stutter.
Gareth doesn't get to spend as much time with a voice coach as he'd like, because he's so busy, the spokeswoman added.
