King of pop Robbie Williams turned down an invitation to join the fun. He wasn't free on that date.

But the other stars on the guest list make up for his absence!

The concerts are free, but you'll have to apply for one of the 12,000 tickets.

Royal official Sir Michael Peat explained: "She would have liked to ask all the people in the country to come, but they wouldn't fit in!"

You won't miss out

So organisers will decide who gets a ticket to make sure people from all over the country get a fair chance.

But those without tickets won't miss out on the party.

We'll all be able to watch the concerts on big screens set up in public parks around the country.

If you want to apply for a ticket, here's what to do:

  • Ask permission to phone 0900 1952 2002. Calls cost no more than 1 and lines will be open until 17 March
  • Or you can go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/queensconcerts/ and apply for a ticket

You'll find out if you're one of the lucky ticket-holders in April.
