Britney Spears will not pose without her clothes for an anti-fur campaign.
The teenage star had reportedly agreed to appear on a poster for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta), but now her spokesman has denied it.
"Britney was never going to appear in a Peta poster undressed," her spokesperson has said.
On stage with a live snake
Britney's team is said to be angry that Peta wrongly announced she would be posing nude for their 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur' campaign.
But her spokesman said Britney would give Peta a photo of herself fully dressed for them to use.
Some people were surprised Peta approached Britney in the first place, as they have criticised her in the past for appearing on stage with a live snake and a caged tiger.
