  S Club 7 win Record of the Year 2001

S Club 7
S Club 7 have scooped the Record of the Year 2001 title with their number one single Don't Stop Movin', pipping Blue and Kylie to the pop-post.

The super seven came from behind to snatch the prize on Saturday night's live show on ITV hosted by cheeky Geordies Ant and Dec.

Blue with All Rise had to make do with second position and Kylie with Can't Get You Out Of My Mind was third.

Phone and internet votes came flooding in and results were given from 14 different areas of the UK. And for the first time viewers could share their thoughts with others through an interactive text message service.

Live performances

All but Kylie and Destiny's Child gave the viewers a treat with performances of their singles before the voting began.

Not only did S Club win last night, but they're also proving huge favourites in our very own charts which YOU vote for!
