The decision follows an incident during a gig by the 30 piece act at London's
Astoria last month in which a gunman opened fire in the packed club.
On Monday four of the venues set to host the band, who are touring with Oxide
& Neutrino, pulled out on the advice of police.
Shocked
The promoters took the decision to call the entire tour off, against
the wishes of So Solid Crew and Oxide & Neutrino.
The band, which enjoyed a number one hit earlier in the year with 21 Seconds,
said they were shocked that they were not going to be able to appear live.
Alternative venues
A spokesman for the band said: "The incident at the Astoria, where there was a shooting, did not directly involve So Solid Crew and Oxide & Neutrino, and they have made it clear that they abhor violence."
The band's management are currently looking for alternative venues for
concerts in the new year.
