"At the moment we are just concentrating on S Club, but after S Club definitely. I know I always want to be in music and I would love to do my own stuff one day.

"We're not under any illusion that S Club will last forever."

Songs

Jon agreed performing solo was fun. He said: "It was nice to be able to do something on my own. It was my little bit of fame!

"(Going solo) is something I plan to do."

Jon said he is already writing his own songs. "They are just songs that are not right for S Club, songs I write for myself," he said.

They also confirmed the band will be filming the S Club movie next April.

Jon said: "I can't wait. There will definitely be a few gags and stuff in there. But it will be different from the TV series. It would be nice if we had a few celebs in there."
