Britney and co snub Jacko charity song
Updated 18 October 2001, 20.06
Britney Spears and Michael Jackson
Britney Spears has pulled out of Michael Jackson's planned charity single.

And shortly afterwards, her boyfriend Justin Timberlake from N'Sync, Destiny's Child and Usher all did the same.

So many big stars have now changed their minds about the record, that it's starting to look like a giant snub for the former king of pop.

Raise money

But apparently the singers all gave different reasons for pulling out of the song, which will be called What More Can I Give.

Michael Jackson was hoping a host of American celebrities would perform alongside him on the charity song to raise money for those affected by the US terrorist attacks on September 11.
