Afghan children What's the future for Afghan children?
There's a long way to go before the effects of years of war, poverty, drought and crime are sorted out in Afghanistan.

Much of the damage had been done even before the US started its bombing.

Even though there are some glimmers of hope, it may be a tougher battle than it first seemed.

In some areas, the violence continues with bombings and gun battles.

Taleban supporters have re-grouped and there are frequent clashes between them and foreign forces brought in to help the new regime.
