A child in the RPF army in Rwanda What do they do?
Young children become fighters or 'guns for hire' in wars and civil wars, conflicts where different groups fight in the same country to try and gain power.

Children also work behind the front lines. They work as messengers or cooks and run errands for the fighters. This is also very dangerous work.
