Who was Churchill?
Winston Churchill was a politician who successfully led Britain through World War Two.

He became a politician in 1900 after spending time in the army.

He started as the Conservative MP for Oldham, but switched to the Liberal party in 1906.

Whenever he was in the Houses of Parliament, he impressed with his inspiring speeches.

War came again and in May 1940, Churchill became Prime Minister.
